Tomorrow at noon, a new round of AstraZeneca opt-in registration for those under 60  will open

The Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF) announced today that opt-in registration for the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine will begin tomorrow for those under 60. (May 26).


Khairy Jamaluddin, the Coordinating Minister of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Program, said at a press conference that vaccine slots will be available for booking at 12 p.m.


When it comes to vaccine slots, he emphasized that the elderly will continue to be prioritized.


“As a result, CITF has agreed to open registrations to those under 60 in the Klang Valley, Penang, Johor, and Kuching and Miri, Sarawak tomorrow at noon for the second step of the AstraZeneca opt-in registration,” he said.


He mentioned that this was done to ensure that all slots for the second phase of the AstraZeneca opt-in vaccine were quickly filled.


“We will give today and tomorrow before noon to those above 60 to register first, and then we will open the slots up to those under 60,” he said.
