Penang is a Malaysian state on Peninsular Malaysia's northwest coast, bordered by the Malacca Strait. It is divided into two parts: Penang Island, which contains the capital city of George Town, and Seberang Perai on the Malay Peninsula. They are linked by the Penang Bridge and the Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah Bridge, Malaysia's two longest road bridges. As of May 2019, the latter is also Southeast Asia's longest oversea bridge. Penang is the second smallest Malaysian state in terms of land area, bordered by Kedah to the north and east, and Perak to the south.

  1. Penang Hill

Penang Hill was Peninsular Malaysia's first colonial hill station. It is six kilometres from Georgetown and consists of Western Hill, Bukit Laksamana, Tiger Hill, Flagstaff Hill, and Government Hill. The state's primary hill resort is located in this hilly and forested area.

Bukit Bendera, located 821 metres above Penang's capital, is known by islanders and is generally five degrees cooler than Georgetown. Because it is Penang's last remaining patch of tropical rainforest, the flora and fauna here have been secured since 1960. It may not be as well-known as Genting Highlands, Fraser's Hill, or Cameron Highlands, but this is one of Penang's most popular tourist destinations.

Penang Hill was discovered when soon after British settlement; Francis Light commissioned the area to be cleared to grow strawberries. Though it was never fully developed (it was difficult to carve out the forest area), it became a favourite expatriate refuge before the advent of air conditioning. Its oldest bungalow, Bel Retiro, is the holiday residence of the Governor of Penang.

2. Deen Maju Nasi Kandar

Nasi kandar can be said to be a very famous menu in Penang. People say, if you come to Penang, don't try nasi kandar, your visit is not valid.

There are various nasi kandar shops in Penang. Examples are Nasi Kandar Line Clear, Nasi Kandar Deen Maju and many more. All these are among the delicious nasi kandar in Penang. But Deen Maju is holy grail to me!

Among those in the chart, Deen Maju nasi kandar can be said to be in the top chart. It can be attributed to nasi kandar which has gone viral lately. This eatery has been a phenomenon for the past 1-2 years with its spicy fried chicken. This can be seen by the long queues.

The fried chicken is said to be the best and must be taken if eaten here. Don’t forget the squid eggs as a side.

Some even suggest a combination of dalca rice and tomato rice. Best they say. Maybe you can try to do so while being here.

Armenian Street is a small road in Penang, Malaysia's city of George Town. The road, which is located within the city's UNESCO World Heritage Site, has gained popularity in recent years due to its rich cultural offerings and street art.

Armenian Street was originally part of a Malay settlement and is one of only a few places in the world named after the nation-state of Armenia.

When it comes to Penang Road Famous Teochew Chendul, we don't even need to go into detail. When it comes to trying cendol for the first time, literally everyone flocks to this stall. They've come a long way in their over 80-year history. From a single street cart to multiple outlets in Klang.

Even now, the original can be found tucked away on Penang Road. When you order a bowl of cendol, you get it quickly. The flavours and the mixture are there, but we thought the portion was small. Getting a seat during peak hours or on holidays is nearly impossible. Standing by the roadside and taking kind of enjoy the sun while drinking that bowl of cendol is all part of the adventure.
